Spacious property on a gated development enjoying a countryside location between the popular towns of Brixham and Dartmouth, allowing guests to enjoy the best of the coast and countryside.

This property is situated in a rural location, approximately three miles from both Brixham and Dartmouth. Brixham is one of three towns which make up the beautiful coastal region known as the English Riviera. The town is known for its harbour, and thriving fish industry, which ensures that the town’s pubs and restaurants are always stocked with delicious fresh seafood. There are several beaches around the town, ranging from the secluded St Mary’s Bay, to the town’s main Breakwater beach, which offers visitors amazing views from the 0.5 mile long structure that gives the beach its name. The historic town of Dartmouth, meanwhile, offers an interesting range of attractions, including Dartmouth Castle, Britannia Royal Naval College, and the Dartmouth Steam Railway.

Guests approach this property through the gates which stand at the entrance to the development. On the ground floor, there are three of the property’s four bedrooms: a double, a single, and a bunk bedroom. The double benefits from having its own TV, as does the single room, whilst the single and bunk bedroom both have patio doors which open onto the property’s garden. The main bathroom is also on this floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Taking the stairs to the first floor, guests come to the main living accommodation, which comprises of an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with the dining table in the centre separating the lounge and kitchen areas. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine, and also enjoys far-reaching views across the countryside to the sea. The lounge area is a comfortable space for guests to enjoy spending time together, with its comfy sofa, chairs, TV, and DVD. The master bedroom can be found on the second floor, with its double bed, countryside and sea views, as well as an en-suite shower and WC.

Outside, there is plenty of space for guests to relax, socialise, and play, with an enclosed patio garden to the rear of the property, and another area to the front. There is a private off-road parking space next to the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Good location, bus stops opposite. Tv should be replaced with sky as all the other houses as reception poor could not even get bbc. Wifi bt hub 3 needs updating as years out of date Overall a nice cottage to stay in.

Overall the cottage was very good! Plenty of facilities, clean, spacious, and great value for money! A few things need addressing/fixing, but nothing major enough to impact our holiday!! Over I would say 8/10

Lovely cottage, very clean with excellent views. Well equipped, even had dog treats in the cupboard, enjoyed staying there. Would definitely use this company again.

Tv service was weather dependant (not owners fault, but just a little frustrating) Amenities are within walking distance (about two miles) however found it very clear to fine a footpath, with a new born in a buggy was too dangerous. Would benefit from a information folder in the property for, oven, washing machine, shops, taxi numbers etc Saying thRead moreis, the property is beautiful with a sea view once the fog cleared :) and accommodated us with comfort. This is the second time we have been to this property and each time we have enjoyed it immensely .Being situated where it is and having the bus stop for both ways just outside the door it is ideal for both Brixham and Dartmouth. Small complaint the shower unless being used as a shower (not washing hair as we use it) is a real pain. The slate on theRead more gardens does not improve the overall look. These are small things and as previously stated this is a really good place to stay. Hide

This cottage was lovely and a great location as was a quick drive to Painton and 30 minutes from Torquay. It could of done with a washing line as I had to dry towels on the two radiators in the two bathrooms. The cottage has three floors with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor I asked the comfort level to my family sleeping downstairs and it was all loRead morevely apart from the bunk beds my mum said she could feel the springs . The middle floor was a living room and kitchen they had lots of records, games etc to use the was good . The upstairs was an on suite bedroom with shower and toilet. It was all very clean apart from the odd bit of dust . Any issue that came up was quickly resolved by the people running the place . It's an emerson boiler so took a long time to heat up so when we got there we were waiting a long time for the hot water as we had to put the switch on and then we got three baths out of it so if there is seven people going I'd split the baths up between morning and night . Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
