We had a nice stay here, owners were very welcoming and helpful, even when my husband locked us out. Nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to have parking in the middle of Brixham, although the spot is very tight if you have a very big car. Overall the cottage was clean and well equipped. The stairs were a nightmare for me as they are very steeRead morep with no hand rail, and I have mobility issues. Unfortunately the cottage is on a main crossroad in to Brixham, traffic is noisy. Stone Beam Cottage was a lovely holiday home for us, with all the amenities we needed and a location which was perfect, given that the rest of Brixham seems to be on very steep hills. With easy access to the harbour and village, it is also a useful base for further exploration of the rest of Torbay.

Situated on a set of traffic lights .. Would not wish to stay if the weather wasn't good as its very dark. The photos have definitely had the white balance altered , but they do reflect the cottage , its just darker and more gloomy than the photos. Spacious and well equipped, this cottage has everything you need for a short stay break in Brixham. With 4 bedrooms (2 doubles) that sleeps up to six people, it's also great value for money too.

Lovely traditional cottage only 5mins walk to the town, and a parking space included. All rooms presented well with comfortable beds and TVs. Staircase a little tricky for taller people due to low ceilings. Modern bathroom with bath/shower. Only 1 set of plates, but most other utensils/cookware provided.

Great cottage for a stay in Devon. The cottage allows easy walking access to Brixham itself but with so much around we found ourselves out of the town visiting other places. Dogs are allowed but there is no garden so if you have a dog that needs to go out at night is is a walk on a lead. probably better for smaller dogs. But don't read that commentRead more as a criticism of the property - just be aware when booking if a garden is a facility you need. Overall a great base for your holiday. Thank you. Hide
