This remarkable property, which is situated close to Brixham’s town centre, has been fitted and furnished to a delightful standard throughout, offering the perfect bolthole for a family retreat.

Nestling in the English Riviera town of Brixham. The town has a maritime history and the harbour remains the heart of it and offers visitors a choice of boat trips, from relaxing tours of Torbay, accompanied fishing trips and a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There is plenty to see and do, from beaches and restaurants and even a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship, The Golden Hind. Further afield, the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations with visitors and other attractions include the golden sandy beaches, a zoo, an aquarium and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley.

Take the steps up to the entrance of this beautiful three story property which oozes history, upon entering you’ll find yourself in the charming entrance hall which is the perfect spot to hang your coats and wipe off your paws. Following on through this delightful property you will be greeted by the fabulous lounge/diner. The well-furnished lounge area allows you to sit back and relax among the rich, soft furnishings and watch your favourite programme on the TV whilst the open fire crackles in the background. The dining area offers comfortable seating for eight guests and a set of patio doors which lead on out into the enclosed garden area. Continuing through the property you will find the magnificent kitchen, the perfect back drop for catching up friends or family whilst cooking up a storm. The kitchen consists of an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and small table and chairs. Completing this floor is the utility room, offering a washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. After a long day, head upstairs to the first floor where you will find two of the four bedrooms, a king-size with TV, the master bedroom which boast a super-king-size bed and TV and completing this floor is the bathroom consisting of a free-standing bath, a separate shower and WC. Heading up the tight spiral staircase to the second floor where you will find the final two bedrooms, a cosy double and a twin (which both have restricted head space). Completing this floor is a handy WC.

Head on outside to the split-level enclosed terrace area, the lower level space is perfect for hosing down the dogs and storing your beach equipment and finally head on up to the upper level which has been well constructed by the owners to offer a beautiful outside space for you to enjoy. On offer is a decked area with garden furniture, parasol and BBQ allowing you to enjoy al fresco dining. The property offers one off-road parking space, which is located at the church. Guests can unload outside the property then park up.

Excellent in every sense, every little thing catered for especially for the dogs. Beautiful house and a lovely holiday, would highly recommend Ps sorry about the bin, we put it out on Wednesday noght but it wasn't collected on the Thursday morning for some reason

Property was lovely and lived all the character the house had . This was the only property that would allow us to bring our three dogs . The only thing we struggled with was there was no grass for our dogs to toilet on as thats what they are used too . Well equipped but would be nice to if been left more toilet rolls and drinks as two for a family Read moreof 5 was not enough . Would definitely stay here again though ! Hide

Would not class it as a cottage it is more like a town house very nic inside but people need to know about the steps going up and it is hilly

Excellent accommodation. We were a party of 8 Adults and the property easily accommodated us. Tastefully decorated throughout, with a large main bathroom.5-10 min walk into the town. Car park pass provided for 1 vehicle, but no parking between 0900 and 1200 on a Sunday due to being a church carpark. We booked a private carpark spot locally which caRead moren easily be done online. We all really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't have any hesitation about revisiting the property or Brixham. Hide

The cottage was well situated, a short walk to the harbour and all the shops and restaurants. On the whole it was well equipped and well furnished and decorated. An enjoyable place to stay even when confined to the house by rain!

Fantastic stay, couldnt fault it it simply has everything you need even down to a sewing kit for an emergency !! They really have thought of everything Eight adults and 2 dogs had a great stay, walking distance from harbour so just park up and forget the car keys for a week . Bliss Thank you
