The kitchen is also on the first floor, overlooking the garden to the rear of the property, and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. The dining room is located just off the kitchen and offers space for six to enjoy meals together. One of the bedrooms is also located on the first floor, a pleasant double room with garden views. The shower room on this floor benefits from under-floor heating, a walk-in shower, and WC. The master bedroom, with its king-size bed and stunning sea views can be found on the first floor, where the third bedroom, another double room, is also located. I can honestly say a lot of thought has gone into this house. Both bathrooms superb. View lovely from windows. More steps than i expected but only because im having hip problems. Hope to go back when hips are sorted. Our dog loved the garden to explore.

Have stayed in various rentals in nearby Moorings Reach over the years, this property is of equal quality and standard! Arrival instructions were clear and concise, we just arrived, unloaded, and got on with our stay. Would have no hesitation in a return to this rental in the future should we return to Brixham......which is likely.

Our family have been visiting Devon for many years and have a fair experience of holiday rentals in Brixham. Moorings End (among the best) is comfortable, spacious enough if the weather is bad, and everything works as it should. We slept well. A dedicated parking space (an essential in Brixham) is at the rear of the property, which has recently beeRead moren updated to a good standard. An additional bathroom, important for larger parties, has been added. We have always found Brixham Cottages, the management company, to be dependable and efficient. Moorings end commands excellent views of the harbour and shipping. There is always something to see. Basic shops are a short walk away. During our stay we have visited Torquay via the, moderately priced, ferry service, walked over Berry Head and admired the sea views,( fresh air) and 18/19th Century forts, visited nearby NT houses and seen a couple of shows in Torquay. A visit to Totnes was slightly marred by heavy rain but when we returned, wet and cold, the central heating came on immediately. I'm sure that, at some point, we will come again. We would happily recommend this property to others. Hide

Our second stay at the Moorings End property - we love the location and having a whole house to ourselves. The property is well maintained and would be good to replace the sofa's in the near future, but i can see alot of investment has gone in to the property since last time anyway, with the new bathroom on the top floor and mods to the Read morefamily one. Brilliant house and garden with the benefit of car parking space. Enjoyed it so much that we booked a second week.

Had a very pleasant stay at moorings end for a pirate wedding and would definitely recommend it to anyone, laying in bed whilst looking at the view of the harbour plus milk, tea, coffee and cereals provided was an added bonus.

Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the village.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
