This traditional fisherman’s cottage is located in the heart of Brixham, enjoying fantastic views of the harbour and out to sea. Sleeping up to five guests in three bedrooms, this delightful property would perfectly suit a holidaying family or couples looking for a romantic retreat. With the town centre, harbour and beaches all within walking distance, this home is the ideal base whether you’re looking to explore the English Riviera on land or water.

A warm welcome awaits as you enter this beautiful home, which has been styled with a shabby-chic theme throughout. The open-plan living space gives a light and airy feel, with comfortable sofas that are perfect to snuggle up on as you sit back and enjoy the views of the bay. On colder evenings, the cosy wood burner gives the room a lovely homely feel, which is perfect for relaxing in front of your favourite film. Make use of the well-equipped kitchen to rustle up a tasty dinner with the freshly caught seafood you’ve picked up during the day, before enjoying a family meal at the dining table. When eyes are feeling heavy, head upstairs to the restful bedrooms, which are on the first and second floor. Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep before waking up to those spectacular views across the bay.

From Brixham, follow the South West Coast Path to Berry Head National Nature Reserve (1.5 miles), where you might be lucky enough to spot dolphins, harbour porpoises and grey seals. Leave the car behind and hop on the ferry, to enjoy a daytrip to the popular resort of Torquay. Slow the pace on Breakwater Beach, which is a few minutes from the cottage. It’s also a popular scuba diving spot and there are a number of local dive schools, if you fancy having a go.

Guillemot Cottage was a delightful place to stay. We especially enjoyed the view of the working harbour from our bedroom window each morning thanks to the weather remaining especially sunny throughout our week. Walking up and down the steps to the local shops, bars and restaurants was a bit of a challenge but well worth it. Great cottage in a beautiful location, steep steps to get too the cottage but worth it for the views and close location to the harbour and town! Appliances all work and are very clean, kitchen is small but perfect for everything that you need for a nice week away. We will be retuning again.

Wonderful cottage , warm cosy and bright very welcoming. The kitchen had quality utensils with absolutely everything you need and more . Would welcome a Hoover especially when taking a dog , a brush just flicks the hair about . Amazing view fabulous location, I will definitely be back .

A very nice stay in a great location - lovely to wake up and look over the bay. Brixham has lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes nearby to drop in. A nice cottage with a cost atmosphere, close to the commercial port with always something going on!

Lovely, cosy, comfortable, clean cottage with amazing views of Brixham harbour and Torbay from the living room, double and single bedrooms. Really well equipped with excellent central heating. Although it was further up the steps than we expected it was worth the climb and much easier if you walked around the bottom of the steps to the slope which Read moreis a little further along and cuts out the first flight of steps. We were aware wed have a bit of a trek to and from the car but it was worth it for such amazing views and such a beautiful location. The cottage was really comfy and we enjoyed the luxury of having two toilets for a week as we only have the one at home! The cottage was really well equipped, cosy and snug. My 8 year old twins loved their rooms on thRead moree top floor. We stayed in week 1 of our 2 week October half term. Still so much to see and do in the local area and the cottage was a great base! This is a fabulous place everything you need is available. Stunning views we were lucky to see seals from our bedroom again. Clean and with milk ,tea and biscuits left for us you can unpack before venturing out for supplies . Cosy living room with plenty of space to eat round the table with a fully equipped kitchen. A great cottage to stay at. We spent 2 weeks there in September and found the accommodation just right. It is well equipped and there was even crabbing buckets and lines. Everything worked as it should, it was beautifully clean and was just charming. If you get the chance, go there..!

The view from every windows was stunning. Beautiful cottage, really nice and comfy. Every single room with lovely details that made it unique. Very well appointed cottage - had everything we needed and more. Well presented and clean on arrival. It was very welcoming. We settled in immediately and had a wonderful week. Lovely place log fire roll top bath what more do you want. Great for the dog. Location is perfect for access to the harbour front, also walking the dog at the top of the hill in the gardens.

A lovely, warm and cosy cottage with amazing views over the bay.. even sat up in bed with my morning cuppa! The cottage is very well equipped and the location was perfect for us. There are quite a few steps to the cottage but if you dont like steps, Brixham is not for you! A perfect winter break - thank you!

Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve.
