Just moments from the bustling harbour of Brixham, you’ll be at the heart of this wonderful town, perfectly placed to enjoy all that it has to offer. From the plethora of shops, restaurants and galleries, to the quaint harbourside with its selection of places to purchase freshly caught fish, you’ll be spoilt for choice. If you plan to venture out of the town but don’t fancy driving, you’re ideally located to wander the coast path to discover some lovely little coves, or you can travel by boat to one of the neighbouring coastal resorts such as Paignton or Torquay.

Step inside the entrance hall, which leads into the utility room where a washing machine and tumble drier are located. Upstairs on the first floor, there are two stylish bedrooms. The master boasts a double bed and contemporary en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom offers twin beds, perfect for children, and shares the family bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. On the second floor, the main living space is open-plan and full of natural light. With a wooden floor below, exposed beams line the vaulted ceilings above where a skylight floods the room with light. At one end of the room, a contemporary kitchen with granite worktops contains an electric oven, gas hob, pop-up extractor fan, fridge, separate freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. Once prepared, enjoy your meals at the stylish table and chairs beyond before retreating to the lounge area to make the most of the TV, comfortable corner sofa and view of the Prince William statue through the French-style window.

Outside, there is a communal enclosed courtyard with bench seating, perfect for an al fresco drink in the evenings. The property has a garage for a small car, or storage of bicycles, kayaks or other sporting equipment.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a lovely week in Brixham with the house being very central to all shops and harbour. Brixham is a bustling little fishing village and a fab place to stay. Worth paying 35 to park in the Breakwater beach car park by the Marina as this allows parking in all car parks over Torbay (Paignton, Torquay etc). This car park is a flat walk along the hRead morearbour back to the house. The suggested Elkins Hill car park has hundreds of steep steps to climb and not an easy walk even for the fittest. Hide

The location is perfect, just a short walk to all the Brixham sites and amenities. Harbour a stone's throw away. The garage is unusable to cars much bigger than a smart car, as the lane is so thin you can't turn in! Car park is right around the corner but only 3 hours max. Overnight is ok but only till 8am. Beware locals if you park in the side roaRead moreds! Lane can be noisy with mopeds and loud drunks at night. Other than that our stay was ok. Hide

Great Location close to the harbour, a split level cottage with parking for small car only. Not a great view to the harbour but less than 30secs and your there.

Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
