The cottage was nicely located very close to the shops and harbour in Brixham making it an ideal base. Based on a previous review, we parked in the Oxen Cove car park and paid for an 8 day pass-the car park was a short walk back to the cottage. Cottage was ideally located for all shops, restaurants and the harbour. Really comfortable and stylish. Lovely pub a few doors down which was great to begin the evening. We paid for a weekly permit from Torbay council prior to travel, which allows you to park in most car parks in the area and this was well worth the money. Access to the property waRead mores not for the faint hearted, with steep and narrow roads but once we dropped off the cases we parked at the long stay car park. Recommend Hide

Very clean - parking can be a problem on nearby roads - no parking by cottage so need to be mindful if inclement weather. Not far to harbour, shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely area and plenty of places to visit. My friend really enjoyed our stay.

Quaint seaside cottage located conveniently for town centre and harbour area. Be aware of short but uphill walks throughout area. Very tight access for car which we left in Oxen Cove car park overnight which is 5-10 minute walk from cottage. Recommend the 38 per week parking fee which seems high but is best deal. Great cottage for a family holiday. Gives you everything you need for a modern Holiday with the charm of being in a Traditional fishermans character filled cottage. The decor gets you really in the mood for a holiday on the beautiful Devon coast and a locally sourced fish supper is a must.

Every thing we needed for our Christmas holiday. The cottage was spotless, warm, cosy and welcoming. A real home from home. It was great to have 2 bathrooms. A lovely welcome pack of raspberry and elderflower drinks, mince pies and milk was left ready for us. The owners had also put up a tree and put out some decorations.

There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
