Comfortable single-storey chalet, located in a quiet park setting on the edge of the village of Galmpton, a short drive from the town of Brixham with its harbour, beaches, and restaurants.

This property enjoys a quiet rural location on a small park of similar properties, just a few minutes’ walk from the village of Galmpton. This charming village has a range of shops, and a well-regarded pub, making it a great place to visit for lunch or for a relaxing pint. For a change of scene, just four miles from the property is the town of Brixham, with its busy harbour offering fishing trips, pleasure boat cruises, and a ferry service across to the resort town of Torquay. The town also boasts two beaches, the more central Breakwater Beach, and Shoalstone, where there is also a fantastic 53 metre tidal pool which provides safe swimming no matter the conditions out at sea.

 

This property offers single-storey accommodation for three guests. On entering, guests first come to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its comfortable sofa and armchair, wood-burner, TV, and DVD player. The dining area separates the lounge area from the kitchen which is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. The first of the property’s two bedrooms, is a double room, whilst the second bedroom is a cosy single room. The shower room has an electric shower and WC.

 

Outside, there is a patio area to the front of the property which is furnished with a table and chairs, making it the perfect spot to enjoy drinks in the evening. The park itself has a small shop for buying basic necessities and attractive views over the River Dart. There is allocated parking for one car next to the property and additional parking available on-site.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

'Tranquillity' is a simple but comfortable place to relax in. It's location is ideal for visiting Dartmouth, Brixham and the National Trust's Coleton Fishacre and Greenway without having to drive very far. A station for the steam railway is nearby. Good sized patio area for when the sun shines! There is a good shop and pub in the village.

A basic but adequate chalet just right for what we wanted . A central location for us, walking distance to the pub where there was good good and the site was love!I and quiet and having plenty of Sun helped!

Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
