This is a fantastic home, it overlooks the trawler fleet in the harbour. The views are to die for!! If the weather is favourable, the climb to the upper garden/balcony seating area is worth it. The fixtures and fittings are really comfortable. It is a climb to the house if you use the first set of stairs, there is an easier set of stairs to the lefRead moret side of the terrace around mid-way. However, I think that is going to be the case in most area's of Brixham. Hide

Amazing holiday cottage with idyllic views, comfy beds and perfect for our large family. The location is great. Just a couple of minutes walk to the front. The steps, although mentioned, were challenging, both to the house and the back terrace. Although once on the terrace the views were amazing. There is a parking permit to the house but the parking is located in the multi storey car park at Breakwater about a 1/4 mile away. Having saRead moreid that we had a good holiday. We sighted both a seal and dolphins in the harbour, which was an added bonus. The house was well equipped. Hide

This is a wonderful cottage and location. Wonderful night views over the fishing harbour and easy access to many areas surrounding Brixham. Good location, great base for getting around Brixham. Near the harbour, town centre and breakwater beach. Steps, steps and more steps. If anyone has small kids or mobility issues I wouldn't recommend this house. The steps are steep and worn at the front and back. Getting the bins down and back up them was also a bind. There isn't any parking at theRead more house at all. We were advised there were 3 parking bays outside the house we could use to unload our vehicle but these were permanently taken. Hide

The Lookout is in the perfect location. It is close to the town and harbour. We'd also recommend the BerryHead Hotel which is a short, flat walk. The cottage has many steep stairs so those with mobility problems will find this property difficult. It's comfortable and beautifully furnished. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equRead moreipped and everything is very clean. However, the rear of the cottage could do with some maintenance to make it safer and it also needs lighting. Hide

The house is lovely, and is clean and spacious. The bedrooms are very good with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are also very decent, but could perhaps do with some extra selving for toiletries. The property is in a great position, very near the harbour, shops and pubs. The views from the decking are wonderful, but the steps to reach this are very Read moresteep and somewhat worn in places, so great care is needed. We had a very good holiday and found lots to do in Brixham and the surrounding area. Hide
