An idyllic retreat which is situated next to its sister property in a quiet setting, this property is found in the Hillhead area on the outskirts of Brixham. It’s just 2 miles from the heart of the town where you will find a quaint harbour surrounded by an assortment of colourful cottages, seafood restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. There is also an array of amenities and activities in the area such as water sports, beaches, and an open-air seawater lido at Shoalstone. Head out further and explore the rest of the English Riviera and picturesque South Hams, which could include a short drive to Noss Marina in Kingswear where you can take the ferry across the water to popular Dartmouth. Other attractions easily accessible from here include Paignton Zoo (5.5 miles), Agatha Christie's Greenway House (3.5 miles), Dartmoor National Park (16 miles) and the stunning cathedral city of Exeter (30 miles).

Step inside this pretty property and to the right where the accommodation opens up into a beautifully light yet cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here, comfortable sofas sit in front of a Smart TV and provide the perfect place to relax after a day exploring, and the dining area is the perfect venue for relaxed meals. The sleek kitchen area is also perfectly appointed and offers a great range of appliances. Venture back into the hallway and because all of the rooms are handily on the same level, you will find the two beautiful bedrooms. The first of which is a double and then a beautifully presented twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request, please note space is limited when set up as a super-king-size). Completing the offering inside the property is a lovely contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Heading outside and located to the front of the property, there is a delightful enclosed garden with an area of lawn, a patio area and garden furniture. Here, you can dine alfresco when the weather permits or relax in the sun without needing to venture to the beach. Private off-road parking for 2 cars (parking behind each other)

Second time here and it was awesome, didn't think they could have made any improvements but they did. Seating refreshed, new dining area chairs and a record player, kids loved that once they knew what it was. A super rental, great location and we will be back as it's a home from home and far better than my home!!

The property presented exactly as the photographs. It was very clean and comfortable and well located for what we wanted. Some nice footpaths from Hillhead itself. We would be happy to return

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Really quiet in a great location to access routes to Brixham, Dartmouth and Paighnton / Torquay. The cottage is an extension to a bigger property but heard nothing from house or neighbours and has a separate dog friendly contained garden. Great layout and well stocked facilities with washing machine, dishRead morewasher, microwave, oven and kitchen equipment and utensils. Separate, although skinny driveway leads to garden gate. Lovely apartment with a nice enclosed garden. Ideal for visiting Brixham and Dartmouth- the steam railway is a good trip out. We enjoyed the present of the wine and our dog liked the treats! Parking in the drive can be tight when someone is parked opposite but we always got in!

Nice accommodation, well equipped, very clean, relaxing and summery. Enclosed garden, but the two gates were too low for our border collie. She gets distracted by birds and anything that flies, and can easily jump the gates. Other than that, everything was really good.

Seas The Day is a lovely place to stay, ideal for dog owners as the garden is fully enclosed, with a sunny patio to sit on. Location is ideal as only a few minutes to Dartmouth ferry or back to Paignton or Brixham. Very comfortable beds and sitting area.

Peaceful location and nice safe enclosure for the dog. But if you want to walk anywhere from the cottage it is along a narrow road with no footpath so walking the dog means a drive into town. There is an alleyway that leads to the next road but thats it. Also quite a steep and, busy at times, drive into Brixham so not for nervous driver. we loved it! Perfectly clean, comfortable, great location for Paignton, Torquay, brixham and Dartmouth, everything within a few miles of the cottage!
