With lovely views over Brixham’s pastel cottages, this beautiful retreat is a wonderful central base for exploring this fascinating area with its great leisure, sports and dining facilities. A wide array of eateries, inns and independent shops are on your doorstep. Brixham Theatre, the museum and library are close and early birds can do a Fish Market tour. You can spot dolphins at UNESCO’s Berry Head and have a treat at the cafe. The Shoalstone Pool is a wonderful summer facility and the Breakwater is lovely for a stroll. Enjoy a day on heritage trawler Pilgrim or have a dip at Breakwater Beach and the crystal clear coves of Elberry, Churston and Fishcombe. Broadsands Beach is beautiful and ideal for children as it is wide and shallow.

Leave your sandy shoes in the porch and enter the charming kitchen/diner with its Belfast sink and bespoke wooden units, with a gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Upon arrival, a generous welcome pack complete with larder essentials can also be found in the kitchen/diner. A round table in the dining area ensures cosy, sociable meals. A door leads to the lounge where light pours through a large sash window with window seat .There is a multi games table with integrated padded seats, TV, DVD and DVD'S, cosy sofas and a wood burner. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find the bright and airy super-king-size bedroom with large fitted wardrobe. Then head to a bright double bedroom also with lots of storage. The bathroom is adjacent with shower over the bath, WC and heated electric towel rail.

Venture outside,  there is a private terrace, garden shed and garden furniture so you relax with a glass of wine after a busy day out in lovely Brixham. Bikes and paddle boards can be stored in the garden shed which has a padlock. Roadside parking in near by roads (subject to availability)or the nearest pay and display car parks is Oxen Cove Car park.

Absolute gem of a property! Location was absolutely perfect, so central and a really short walk to the sea front and all the amenities. Bus stop and Tesco express was right outside the front door. Gorgeous character kitchen with everything you could imagine to cook. Lovely welcome pack with an Easter egg for our little boy. Large fridge freezer. CoRead moresy lounge with really comfortable sofas and woodburner with plenty of logs. Beds amazingly comfy with high quality linen. Hide

The steps up to the property were very steep less able bodies might struggle to climb them apart from that it is situated in a central location and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Brixham,

The cottage is lovely, plenty os space for a family of four. Would benefit more from bunk beds I think in the second room to be more accessible for families with two children. Abit noisy in the early mornings as deliveries are made to the shops. The location is ideal and easy access to the restaurants and cafes nearby. We loved staying in Sea Salt. The location was central to parking and shops, also short walk to inner harbour. The maisonette had plenty of space for us two, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, good beds. Very considerate owner, much attention to detail, like herbs and spices in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom.

This is an absolutely brilliant find. The maisonette was very comfortable. So many sweet decorative touches and had absolutely everything you need including milk for a much needed cuppa after a long drive. The bedrooms were so comfortable and Victoria really is a wonderful and kind host. Such a great location close to the harbour and high street.

Sea Salt is ideally placed on Middle St in Brixham close to shops restaurants etc.It is reached up a narrow gap between shops and some steep steps so not ideal for people with mobility issues.The property has everything you need and the owner has added so many lovely touches like a welcome pack of goodies and the log burner filled ready to use.It wRead moreas presented immaculately and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay Hide

This is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It's very cosy, very well equipped and very close to all amenities and attractions. We couldn't have asked for more. We even had fresh flowers in every room and a Christmas tree! I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. We had a fantastic weekend.

Sea Salt was beautifully presented, very clean and warm. It was a delight to stay there. Few minutes walk to the Harbour, Coast path and the town was a bonus. Great welcome basket of goodies and all basic needs covered. Beds very comfy with good linen. Excellent winter retreat. Great places to eat for all budgets. There are a lot of steps to reach Read morethe property but good handrails and lighting, maybe an issue if you have mobility problems, I managed with poor Arthritis. Good carparks nearby. Hide

The steps up and down to the cottage are narrow and fairly steep. Older people may find them difficult. We had a baby with us and getting the pushchair etc up to the accommodation was a struggle. The central position mitigates this somewhat. I suppose most properties in Brixham have access issues.

Really comfortable apartment with lovely furnishings and decor. Everything was thought of and provided for use. The owner Victoria was very friendly and helpful. I was grateful for a previous review recommending we take small bags rather than a big case due to steps to the property. We did this and it was fine. . The property is centrally located and near by car parks. We bought the 8 day pass 45 Pounds but was worth worrying about it. We parked in the long stay and walked back along the harbour. Very clean and tidy, location good, with 8 day car park permit, car parking if required in central car park available from 15.00 to 11.00 following day, or leave on 24 hr breakwater car park or others.

Beautiful cottage in a great location and very well equiped Parking can be a challange, but we broughta 8 day parking pass and parked at Oxen Cove which was a 10 min walk away. In fact next year we may not even take the car as we found we did not need it
