Located in the small fishing town of Brixham, this lovingly decorated cottage is perfect for couples. Just a short walk from a selection of restaurants, shops and pubs, it is the ideal accommodation choice if you prefer to stay local and potter around at your own pace. However, if you wish to see more of what the surrounding area has to offer, then don’t miss the chance to drive over to the popular seaside towns of Torquay and Paignton to relax on the golden sands, grab an ice cream or eat some fish and chips.

Opening the stable door, you’ll be greeted by an open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge area which comes fitted with a comfy sofa, cosy wood burner for keeping off the chill in the evenings and a breakfast bar for two where you can sit and enjoy a romantic meal together. Heading up the winding staircase, you’ll find a welcoming master bedroom which overlooks impressive sea views. At the front of the property, you have your very own bistro-style table and chairs for dining or simply watching the sun go down and there’s also a shared garden to make use of.

While Brixham itself has lots to keep you occupied, you may wish to pay a visit to other places in the region such as Torquay (10 miles) and Paignton (7) miles. Some other popular attractions include the Dartmouth Steam Railway (5 miles) where you hop aboard and visit a selection of nearby towns and villages in one whole day!

We enjoyed a great week at this very comfortable little cottage. A short walk down to the shops and harbour and a rather steep walk back up but no problem for us. We were able to find a parking space above the cottage although we found we didn't need to use the car very often as we used the bus and ferries and had lovely walks along the coast path.

Very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean property. Location mid way up a very steep hill is a challenge especially with luggage as no car access and parking nearby difficult.

Cottage was very comfortable, ideal for two and close to town and harbour. We could lie in bed and see the harbour, especially nice at night when lit up. Fantastic cottage we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well equipped and very clean everything looks quite new. Only comments as others have mentioned its is a steep climb to the house with steps. Also it does need a hand rail on the staircase. Very close to centre of Brixham close to harbour and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

A well presented comfortable cottage, very clean and well equipped. Lovely view over the harbour from the bedroom. There is no vehicular access. Be aware that all baggage has to be carried up a steep hill and flight of steps from car park at harbour level.

Nice cottage in a good location right near the town however we thought not enough emphasis was put on the very steep passage leading to then steep steps to the cottage .We had to have help with our luggage. For us and anyone around our age (76-78) its not recommended
