Lodge-style property with sea views, situated on a holiday park overlooking St Mary’s Bay, with a good range of facilities, including an indoor pool, children’s play areas, and bowling alley.

This property is located on a popular holiday park just above St Mary’s Bay, on the outskirts of Brixham. The beach which is just a few minutes’ walk away, is a secluded sand and shingle bay surrounded by cliffs, and is just a short walk from Berryhead Nature Reserve with its coastal walks and Guardhouse Cafe. Brixham town centre is just over a mile from the park, and offers a range of shops and restaurants, including many which specialise in serving local seafood. The busy harbour makes a fascinating place to spend an afternoon, watching the boats come and go, visiting the fascinating replica of the Golden Hind, taking a trip on one of the pleasure craft, or perhaps following the footsteps of the area’s notorious pirates, by taking the self-guided Black Beard Trail.

This privately-owned lodge-style property is contemporarily styled and provides comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests. The spacious open-plan living area has two large, comfortable sofas for sitting back and relaxing in front of the TV and DVD. One of these sofas is a sofa bed which opens into a small-sized double bed, accommodating up to two extra guests, but please note that bedding is not provided for the sofa bed and guests should bring their own if they wish to use it. The dining table seats six, beyond which, guests will find the kitchen which is well-equipped with an oven, hob, American-style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The property has three bedrooms, the first of which is a spacious king-size room with a separate dressing area and en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC. The main shower room, like the en-suite, has a walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, there is a spacious decked terrace to the front of the property, which is accessed through patio doors from the living area and offers views to St Mary’s Bay, garden furniture, and a BBQ. Meanwhile, the holiday park has many facilities for guests to enjoy, including an indoor swimming pool, ten-pin bowling alley, entertainment programme, arcade machines, an on-site restaurant and shop, and both indoor and outdoor play areas for children. There is off-road parking provided.

  • Sleeps 6+2
  • Three bedrooms: 1 king-size, and 2 twins, plus space for 2 additional guests on sofa-bed (guests must provide linen for sofa-bed if in use)
  • 2 shower rooms with WC (1 en-suite to king-size room)
  • TV and DVD
  • Oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer
  • Electric and heating included

Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the village.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
