Lodge-style property with sea views, situated on a holiday park overlooking St Mary’s Bay, with a good range of facilities, including an indoor pool, children’s play areas, and bowling alley.

This property is located on a holiday park just above St Mary’s Bay, on the outskirts of Brixham. The beach which is just a few minutes’ walk away, is a secluded sand and shingle bay surrounded by cliffs, and is just a short walk from Berryhead Nature Reserve with its coastal walks and Guardhouse Cafe. Brixham town centre is just over a mile from the park, and offers a range of shops and restaurants, including many which specialise in serving local seafood. The busy harbour makes a fascinating place to spend an afternoon, watching the boats come and go, visiting the fascinating replica of the Golden Hind, taking a trip on one of the pleasure craft, or perhaps following the footsteps of the area’s notorious pirates, by taking the self-guided Black Beard Trail.

This privately-owned lodge-style property is contemporarily styled and provides comfortable accommodation for up to six guests. The spacious open-plan living area has two large, comfortable sofas for sitting back and relaxing in front of the TV and DVD or taking in the views along the coastline. The dining table seats six, beyond which, guests will find the kitchen which is well-equipped with an oven, hob, American-style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The property has three bedrooms, the first of which is a spacious king-size room with a separate dressing area and en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC. The two remaining bedrooms are fitted with twin beds and built in storage. The main shower room, like the en-suite, has a walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, there is a spacious enclose decked terrace to the front of the property, which is accessed through patio doors from the living area and offers views to St Mary’s Bay, garden furniture, and a BBQ. Meanwhile, the sister holiday park has all the facilities for guests to enjoy, which is a about a 10 minute walk from the property.  There is off-road parking provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful location with views of the ocean, excellent value for money. The family loved it.

Amazing view and well kept site. The Riviera camp site apparently is being demolished at the end of the season and new lodges are being built. We understand there will be no shop or facilities so to take note that a trip into Brixham may be required. We had an amazing time.

We had an excellent stay. Lodge is situated away from the main holiday park so it was peaceful with superb views. Perfect location to access coastal path. Lodge is modern, comfortable & spacious.

The view out of the lounge window is second to none and I would give the whole lodge 5 stars just for this view over the bay. Take binoculars, we saw dolphins on one occasion. This made up for the very uncomfortable showers.

Superb, well equipped, comfortable lodge with lovely view and so peaceful. Wonderful to be able to take our German Shepherd too. We had a problem with the boiler which was sorted very quickly after a phone call to the owners. Due to having our dog with us we did not use the facilities of the holiday park - have to admit it does look very dated outsRead moreide. We were very grateful that the lodges have private parking as the general car park always seemed to be full. A most enjoyable holiday. Hide

Spacious, very well equipped and a lovely view. Little touches, a loaf of bread, milk, tea and coffee and jams and marmalade were there for our arrival. There were liquid soaps in the kitchen and the bathrooms which again is a nice touch. Clean towels and bedding. Would definitely recommend.

Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
