When it’s time to turn in for the night, ascend to the first floor where you will find your pretty double bedroom with views across the town. Luxuriate in a relaxing bubble bath in the double-ended twin bath, the perfect way to end the day. Spend the day exploring the maritime heritage of Brixham: tour the Golden Hind, walk the Heritage Trail and climb to the Napoleonic Fort atop Berry Head. A lovely cottage to stay in, feels more like a home than a holiday cottages.

The house was immaculate, well designed and had every thing we could possibly want from a holiday property. A welcome pack on arrival, dog treats and towels provided were a nice touch. The heating and hot water services were excellent, ideal for a late season booking.

Lovely house with everything needed for a great stay. Perfect for those with dogs as a park is within 5 minutes walk. Good town to visit too.

This cottage was perfect for us; it is set on 4 levels and the stairs are steep and curved, so no good for elderly or infirm people. The cottage has good facilities, the bath water was hot and there were plenty of cooking basics that were helpful. The harbour is a short walk away, but it is very hilly. Nice dog friendly property (even had dog towels available to use!) and a short walk from the harbour. The main bedroom was comfortable and opposite a large bathroom. This would benefit from the ability to hook up the shower head, as it didnt we used the bathroom two floors below which has a fixed shower head over the bath. Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
