Enjoying an elevated position overlooking the harbour and sea beyond, this is a fantastic bolthole for exploring the local area on foot.

Situated in a peaceful residential road, the property is just a set of steps away from bustling Brixham. This celebrated harbour boasts fishing and boating trips for exploring the coastline together with an impressive menu of freshly caught seafood all year round. With a fascinating history of pirates and smugglers, there is much to discover in this charming seaside town, and in its neighbouring coastal destinations such as Torquay and Paignton.

Arranged in a reverse-level style to benefit from the views, two bedrooms are located on the entrance level of the property. Here there is one double and one twin bedroom, each with a wardrobe, bedside tables and chests of drawers. A cloakroom is located on this floor or taking the cottage style stairs lead down from this level to the family bathroom with shower over bath, which has been recently decorated with a nautical theme. Also on this lower floor is the master suite, which features a king-size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, chest of drawers, an en-suite shower room with WC. Both bathrooms offering underfloor heating. On the upper level, a large open-plan lounge/dining room and kitchen benefits from those stunning sea views and plenty of natural light through a full-height picture window and French doors. The kitchen contains an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge/freezer. Once prepared, enjoy meals at the large dining table before retiring to the comfortable sofas to watch the world go by in the harbour below, or enjoy a game together.

French doors open from the living room onto a sunny balcony. With a bistro-style table and chairs, this is a fantastic spot for enjoying an al fresco drink while taking in the view.

We had a lovely time at Brixham. The pictures of the views from the balcony did not do it couldn't be captured on camera as it was fantastic. We previously stayed in Harbour Breeze in 2016 and whilst our stay then was enjoyable the improvements made since then, made our recent visit even better.

The cottage is beautiful and clean and the view is outstanding. Its well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The showers have good pressure but the ensuite shower drains slowly and is very slippery and there is no safety rail. Its not suitable for a family with young children or infirm people as its arranged over three floors, the stairs are quiRead morete steep and it's at the top of a very steep hill. Parking is a problem, there are double yellow lines outside. But its worth it for that view! Hide

I would love to live in this cottage for ever. Loved everything about it

The location is very congested with cars and even in March trying to find somewhere to park is difficult. This will only get worse as the road the cottage is on will soon have double yellow lines along its complete length. The view of the port from the cottage is stunning and worth the hassle of parking.

Lovely cottage, comfy beds, amazing views. Cottage was very well equipped, had everything we could possibly need to make our stay complete. Only downside was the walk back up from the harbour but it was a small price to pay for the gorgeous views!

The best feature of this accommodation is the view. Absolutely fabulous! Could not stop looking! Great location, for shops and harbour. Had a lovely time. Unfortunately, there are a few housekeeping issues that need to be addressed. Ensuite shower drain needs to be sorted. The furniture in twin and double room needs updating. Unable to use the wardRead morerobe due to smell of damp. A few cleaning concerns. However, these issues easy to solve and would definitely improve the holiday experience. Hide

Lovely cottage. Great view! Watched the Brixham fireworks from the balcony which gets the sun later in the afternoon. Not great for tall people on the stairs, you have to remember to bend your head down. . Perfect location. Managed to park on the rd or just up all week.

Not for anyone with walking difficulties as up a steep hill or steps but would still recommend to others. Amazing comfortable cottage with great views over the harbour. Brixham is a beautiful place with cheap ferry crossings to Torquay and Paignton or regular buses. Great holiday.
