This remarkable property is perfectly situated overlooking Brixham’s harbour and has been fitted and furnished to a delightful standard throughout, offering the perfect retreat whatever time of year.

Nestling on the water’s edge in the English Riviera town of Brixham. The town has a long standing maritime history and the harbour remains the heart of it and offers visitors a choice of boat trips, from relaxing tours of Torbay, accompanied fishing trips and a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There is plenty to see and do, from beaches and restaurants and even a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship The Golden Hind. Further afield, the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations with visitors and other attractions include the golden sandy beaches, a zoo, an aquarium and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley.

On entering this delightful top floor apartment via the shared access staircase, the hallway is the perfect spot to leave your walking boots behind and ensure all paws have been washed. To your left is the remarkable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which offers spectacular views over the marina. The lounge area allows you to relax whilst the boats come to and fro as you’re snuggled up on the sofa with your favourite book or watching a film or two on the Smart TV. The dining area is located between the lounge area and the stylish kitchen area. Guests can readily make themselves at home in the kitchen which is equipped with everything you require, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading back down the hallway and to your left is the shower room with shower and WC. Following on through the apartment and you come to the first of the two bedrooms, a light and airy double bedroom with views over Brixham high street and the second double bedroom is located next door.

Access via a small unkempt yard then a metal fire escape type steps would be too hazardous for anyone with a disability. The dog refused to climb them so had to be carried. Also the car park is a few minutes walk. The pub opposite was noisy only on the Saturday night but was accepted. We had a lovely time the flat was beautiful in a great location the only thing I would say is if you have young children or not to good on your legs you have to go up on a fire escape to get to the flat it was not a problem with us and would recommend to my friends

A lovely apartment very clean and tidy. Milk and biscuits when arriving was a nice touch. I would not recommend staying here if you want to go to bed early as blue Anchor pub has live music Friday and Saturday night until 11.30-12pm. Quiets down after this for the rest of the week. Excellent location, right on the quay. The views are so relaxing and picturesque. You must really try the fish and chips from the restaurant below the apartment, they are really well made and extremely tasty. You get a little noise from the pub next door to the apartment on a Friday and Saturday evening but it doesn't go on late in the evening and Read moreits just a noise not antisocial noise. Ideal for young party people but not for familys or older couples seeking relaxation. The entrance is horrendous, dark, smelly and not very nice. However, once inside you will find a very well kept Flat. Its been kept very clean and fresh. Lovely shower, very comfortable beds and awesome views of the Harbour. The apartment is situation right on the harbour with fabulous views. The decor inside is absolutely beautiful and a great deal of thought and time has gone into it. The cottage was clean comfortable and a perfect location. We could sit in the lounge and watch the boats in the harbour. Shops were very close and we couldn't have chosen a better location. We didn't want to leave!

Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.
