A delightful cottage in the fishing town of Brixham, perfectly situated for the beach and a short stroll to the local shops and pubs.

Located in the picturesque fishing town of Brixham, this is the perfect spot to enjoy the town's bustling harbour and the array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Try your hand at crabbing, enjoy many water sports or simply relax on the sandy beach at St Mary's Bay; there is something for everyone to keep entertained. Alternatively, you can head further afield and explore the rest of the English Riviera with an abundance of beaches, which can be reached by foot ferry from Brixham harbour. Kingswear is also a short drive away where you can jump on the steam railway or take a ferry over to wonderful Dartmouth. Other attractions and places of interest include the historic naval city of Plymouth, Exeter with its stunning cathedral and plenty of shops, The Princess Theatre, Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor National Park, Kent's Cavern, Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties.

Step inside this lovely cottage to find yourself in the spacious dining area, suitably furnished for all guests to sit down for a hearty meal after a day at the beach. Moving through this room will take you to the lounge, a great spot to kick back on the comfy sofas in front of the wood burner and watch some TV or a DVD with the family. Going to the back of the property will lead to the well-equipped kitchen, comprising of an electric oven, gas hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a handy utility cupboard with a washing machine. Moving upstairs to the first floor, you will find two bedrooms: both double rooms facing the front of the property with TVs. The bathroom is at the back of the property and features a shower over the roll-top bath and a WC.

The garden can be reached through the kitchen and is a lovely enclosed spot to enjoy the sunshine. Here there is seating to enjoy a drink or dine alfresco, and there's a BBQ to make the most of the summer weather. This is also the perfect spot for your four-legged friend. Allocated parking can be found down the road and additional on-street parking is available, subject to availability.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is a lovely cottage - really well equipped and very cosy - the garden is great and has a bbq which we made use of! A lot of thought has gone into making this a place which is comfortable and welcoming - we would highly recommend and will definitely return It is in a good location and you can easily walk to the harbour for the shops and restaurRead moreants and to St Marys Bay - which is a beautiful beach Hide

Amazing property in Brixham. This cottage is a beautiful property - very welcoming and well equipped. The garden is wonderful and there is also allocated parking which is a real benefit. We had a wonderful time in Brixham and spent two very happy weeks at this cottage. Would definitely recommend. A real gem!

Really enjoyed our stay in this quirky cottage, there is a shop and takeaways at the end of the street, only 15 minute walk takes you to the Brixham town centre/harbour. Cottage is very clean with everything you would need, a beautiful enclosed garden to the rear with a BBQ and seating area. Treat yourself to a memorable holiday in the beautiful coastal resort of Brixham, where there are a variety of fantastic experiences that will entertain all ages. A lively harbour town, there is plenty to see and do in and around the town.

Crabbing is the number one activity in Brixham, and little ones will love dangling their line over the water’s edge and seeing how many crabs they can capture. Children young and old will also be entertained by the stories of the smugglers and the pirates who once walked the streets of the village. There are several narrow streets to explore lined with colourful fishermen’s houses, with plenty of other great places nearby to discover including Paignton, Plymouth and Torquay.

For the active in your group, there are all sorts of activities to try your hand at, whether you’re a fan of swimming in the sea or prefer to enjoy long walks on dry land, with some great places to enjoy treks including the Berry Head Nature Reserve. And for fun-packed days out, there are several to treat the kids to in the local area, including Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Theme Park and Kent’s Cavern.
