Lovely cottage in nice village, with two good pubs. Nice garden and decent range of equipment. Not really suitable for those with mobility problems.

This cottage is brilliant. A warm and relaxing place to stay, with the games room which was well used, and a lovely garden. The location was ideal with many attractions within a 30 minute drive, including the Clearwell Caves, Go Ape, the steam railway, Goodrich Castle and loads of other places to keep an active and high-energy family busy. We had a lovely stay for a birthday weekend, cottage was cosy, kitchen very well equipped. Large garden area, good location for getting to lots of places. The staircase is a little tricky, especially if you are tall. The only drawback is having the toilet downstairs especially during night times. Also a little issue with ants but we were left a note Read morewhen we arrived advising us of this. The Globe a couple of doors away was fantastic, great food and felt very safe especially during this time. Hide

This is a comfortable, well equipped cottage to stay in, the stairs maybe an issue if you have mobility issues as they are narrow and steep. Nice and close to the Globe pub which is a good thing after a day of walking / exploring the lovely Forest of Dean and Wye Valley area.
