A bespoke bolthole for two guests, this property offers a rejuvenating break in an Elizabethan manor house. Looking out over extensive grounds and with a network of walks nearby, spend your days exploring near and far.

Just a few miles from the Coast-to-Coast walk and with a variety of natural playgrounds to explore, wanderers will find plenty of space to roam. Dipping in and out of the wilderness, there are also a number of local conveniences nearby. We recommend Butlers Retreat as an ideal apartment for touring around the Richmond and surrounding area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.

Good accommodation in a beautiful setting. Not too far from most things and the village pub, the Black Bull, serves some excellent food in a delightful atmosphere.

The cottage and facilities were excellent. It was very comfortable and the cleanliness was second to none. The only thing we missed was not having a shower and being in our seventies we found it difficult getting in and out of the bath.

The is a really lovely place for two people. The wood burner is great even for cool summer days. Then you own garden area with evening sun and a fire pit bbq and glass house. You are very much part of this beautiful Elizabethan Manor House, with your own rooms reflecting the house. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.
