Situated in Brixham, is this wonderful two bedroom detached bungalow which has plenty of space for four family members. Don’t want to leave the dogs at home? That’s fine. The property has plenty of space for two pooches, too. Adventure seekers will love the harbour, where you can explore the local area via boat trip. Walkers and their pets will also enjoy strolling around the winding paths of the hillside village, taking in the quaint shops and scenic views.

 

Beautifully renovated throughout, the property boasts high ceilings, wooden floors and an original Victorian feature fireplace, all bathed in light from the extensive windows. Enjoy a movie in the living room with those you love on chilly nights. But if the weather is kind, how about enjoying the sun trap at the bottom of the garden? There’s plenty of seating for all on the raised terrace and kids will love running around on the lawn in this safe, enclosed space. Watch the world pass you by as you eat, with peaceful sea views visible from the dining room table.

 

Brixham is the perfect place to sample seafood delicacies from the many local restaurants or simply enjoy traditional fish and chips on the harbour, just 300 metres from the bungalow. Once the smell of vinegar and sea air wafts away on the breeze, take the coast path to the nearby Fishcombe Cove, just over a mile away from the cottage. An idyllic sandy getaway with breathtaking views of the area awaits.

  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep.
  • Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars
  • There will be no house access possible until 4pm on the day of arrival, but guests who arrive early are invited to park their vehicle on the driveway from the 11am time that the departing guests have to vacate
  • The owners regret that no form of 'Welcome Pack' can be provided as they do not live in Devon and as the cleaners are unable to do so
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards

Very safe and secure garden for our dog lots of outdoor seating which allows to sit in the sun at any time fantastic view of the harbour very comfortable accommodation thank you

Just returned from a weeks holiday at newlands-we have stayed at many good properties over the years and this is probably the best we loved it-and the garden was so secure for aurora our Alaskan malamute -and the weather was good as well -we will be back next year

Situated in a lovely quiet cul de sac with private parking and lovely little garden. Has all the equipment you need though would say the property itself self is slightly tired.

This is our third visit to this beautifully laid out cottage, we love staying here as its definitely home from home and our dog loves the enclosed garden which is so peaceful and spacious. Everything you need on your doorstep as the harbour is a short walk away with restaurants, shops and views to die for and with Berryhead not far with amazing vieRead morews and woodland walks. Would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing holiday. Hide

The bungalow was very well equipped and tastefully decorated/furnished. The owners have thought of everything . There are two sitting areas in the garden which is grassed - our dog really appreciated this . We loved it,and have recommended it to several people.

Lovely bungalow, perfect for us with the dogs, ample parking and enclosed garden. Nice size tv, comfy beds. Everything you need for a holiday home from home. Would definitely rent again. Location was top of a cul-de-sac on a hill, with a sea view, and walkable to the shops and harbour, we really enjoyed the accommodation and Brixham

This is our second time here, the first being a good few years ago. i dont think you can beat the location, you may not get a view of the harbour but there is a seaview and a flat stroll to the harbour side and also near to Berry Head and Breakwater. the driveway parking is great as is the enclosed garden. very comfortable and reasonably equipped

Very close to the shops and restaurants a few steps and slight hill. The bungalow was very comfortable. The narrow entrance to the street can be avoided as there is another way around.

This was the second time we stayed at this beautiful bungalow and it did not disappoint. Our dogs loved the big spacious garden and with only a stones throw from the harbour. Definitely home from home with all the equipment you need for a perfect stay.
