Situated very close to Brixham working Harbour, this property is perfect for those looking to explore the local area on foot. A short walk down the road will take you to this bustling fishing town with an array of boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. For those with sea legs, there are boat trips to explore the coastline from the water, or for those who prefer the dry land, the coastal path offers stunning scenery at every step. Other attractions and places of interest in the area include the historic naval city of Plymouth, Exeter with its beautiful cathedral and shopping, The Princess Theatre, Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor National Park, Kent's Cavern, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties.

The front door opens into a large open-plan kitchen/diner, which offers plenty of space for entertaining and features a kitchen area with everything you should need throughout your stay including an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave. Once prepared, dine at the large table nearby that seats eight. Off the kitchen/diner area is the cosy living room where you will find sofas for four guests, with additional seating for other guests; it's the perfect area to relax around the Smart TV after a day of exploring the local area. From the kitchen, a flight of stairs leads up to the first floor where two bedrooms are located. In the master bedroom, there is a king-size bedroom with a Smart TV and a wonderful decked terrace area, perfect to sit out in the sun and take in the fresh sea air. The second bedroom on the first floor is ideal for children, containing bunk beds, and is located next to a shower room featuring a shower and WC. Another flight of stairs leads up to the second floor where king-size bedroom can be found which also has a Smart TV. On the second floor is another bunk bedroom and another shower room with a shower and WC.

The outside terrace area, accessed from the master bedroom, has seating for guests with views over the fish market and harbour, where the daily hustle and bustle can be heard. Parking can be found nearby at Oxen Cove car park (charges apply).

Lovely little quirky cottage in central location. The views are amazing. The cottage was clean and felt very homely. The close by fishing market might be a bit noisy at times but also gives the cottage this extra charm being so close to a working harbour. We already booked again and cant wait to return.

Very well equipped cottage everything you could need on a family holiday was provided. All furniture and beds were comfortable and the cottage was immaculately clean. It is in the most convenient location one of our party is unable to walk far it was perfect for us. Park your car at the local car park ( we paid up front for a week which also covereRead mored other Torbay council car parks) and you can explore Brixham and coastal paths from the doorstep. Also watching the fish market was entertaining. Hide

Comfortable accommodation very comfortable. Only down side nowhere really to unpack luggage without causing a holdup.. have to pay for parking which is only 5 minutes walk away. Brixham is a lovely pisturesque town.

Location provides easy flat access to town which worked for us, however views from the property are into/over fish market and its buildings. Fish market can be noisy on certain days from early in the morning but intriguing to watch. Well equipped and comfortable. Car parking from public 5 minutes away (8 day pass) 54 is h per car. We had a great few days, staying at Ocean View. Top location being within a stroll to Brixham harbour, town and beach. Accommodation was comfy and spacious.

Great cottage and lovely location plenty of space Property owners very helpful. Could be a little noisy due to close proximity of fish market but didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

Nice cottage, great location for town and harbour. Clean and fully equipped. 2 double and 2 bunkbed rooms, 2 bathrooms. Lots of noise over night from around 4am. Seagulls and harbour. No parking you have to get a weekly ticket for council car parks to park in oxen cove car park. 5 to 10 min walk. Spaces are tight and it gets busy. But loads of spacRead morees from 5pm onwards. Steep.stairs from ground floor to first. Bedrooms and bathrooms good sizes. Main kitchen and living room good size as well. Hide

Very nice house. Well stocked and ideal for large families or groups. Location is ideal being right by the harbour. You do have to park quite a distance from the house and on pay and display car parks so best to pay for weekly parking tickets. Brixham is a lovely place.
