Situated in a peaceful residential road, the property is just a set of steps away from bustling Brixham. This celebrated harbour boasts fishing and boating trips for exploring the coastline together with an impressive menu of freshly caught seafood all year round. With a fascinating history of pirates and smugglers, there is much to discover in this charming seaside town, and in its neighbouring coastal destinations such as Torquay and Dartmouth. The South West Coast path is close by and is a haven for walkers to soak in the amazing views the coastal path has to offer.

Take the steps up to the entrance of this charming property, upon entering you’ll be welcomed into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area boasts seating and a Smart TV for you to catch up on your favourite programmes, head into the dining area for a superb meal with all the family whilst the wood burner crackles in the background. A few steps to the kitchen, well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and doors leading to the outside patio area. Younger guests in the group will be well entertained with the games room boasting a Smart TV with Wii console with balance board and dance mat, an arcade machine and a selection of board games. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC.

Heading up to the first floor you’ll find three of the properties four bedrooms, one king-size and one double and a single along with a bathroom with freestanding roll top bath, separate shower and WC. Head up again to the second floor, which has steep steps and you’ll find a triple bedroom with three single beds, not suitable for children under 3 and those with restricted mobility.

Outside, the split-level enclosed terrace garden has a patio table and chairs, so when there’s nothing left to do but sit for a while,(please note there are steep steps to the upper terrace patio area)  you’ll be able to sip on a glass of something bubbly and just enjoy the setting. The garage area has a table tennis table and football table. There is off-road parking for one medium size car in the garage, located below the property, with a restricted height of 1.7m.

Cottage was nice with addition of games room . Comfy but missing some basic items in kitchen and down stairs toilet . Outside back of house does not look like photo full of weeds and leaves . The slope down to town center is the easiest way down but is steep coming up . The garage was a bonus for parking .

Great property in a very good location. We enjoyed our stay, the garage a big bonus. Would stay at Pilot House again. A shavers point for recharging Toothbrushes is recommended

Such a beautiful house to stay in, perfect for all the family! Lovely to have room to eat and sit altogether! Perfect location and having the garage parking is brilliant! It was our second stay and we are looking forward to returning again soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the Pilot House, lots of things to do, games and tabletop retro video game machine. Attic room is fun but with steep spiral stairs to it. Lovely, large well equipped and comfortable house. The garage was a great bonus as parking is both difficult and expensive in Brixham. The routes down into town kept us fit.

lovely cosy family home,Really enjoyed reading the history of the cottage. loved the log burner.and our 2 granddaughters loved the games table in the games room. Ideally situated for long walks ,although the return journey back up for us grandparents very challenging in places if used the steps.the road opposite was a much easier option.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week- a few (steep!) minutes walk from town, 5 minutes from the harbour, very convenient. On-street parking is near impossible (as described), but despite saying that the garage can fit a medium size car, we managed (with suspension lowered) to get our full size 4x4 into the garage, which was a godsend. Great house, good fRead moreacilities, secure lower courtyard for dogs. Great. Hide

The walk down to the harbour is fine although a little steep and steps very steep but the walk up obviously very hard work! Easiest hill to use when walking back to address is oppose the Wetherspoons, theres handlebars to assist in getting up the hill which helps a lot
