It’s also conveniently situated within walking distance of the town centre, harbour and beaches, making it the perfect base for exploring the English Riviera.

This homely property boasts many traditional features, which cleverly combine with all the contemporary touches you’d expect. The welcoming lounge is the perfect place for everyone to get comfortable after a busy day of exploring and relax in front of a family film or boardgame. Whether you’re ordering a takeaway or cooking a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, gather everyone around the dining table to eat and plan the next day’s adventures. Heading upstairs, you’ll discover the first of four bedrooms, which enjoys superb marina views. Stairs lead up to the second floor, where you’ll find the remaining three bedrooms and a chance to rest and recharge. Step outside through the patio door in the kitchen to discover three levels of terraces, which are reached by steep steps. Sit back with a glass of wine and soak up the spectacular coastal views from the decked area, before enjoying a little al fresco dining together as you watch the sun set.

Hop aboard Brixham’s full-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship, The Golden Hind, to explore its decks and hands-on exhibits. See this beautiful stretch of coastline from a different perspective by taking to the water on one of the many boat trips that leave the harbour.   • Please note you can stop on the road opposite the Lookout for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose of picking up or dropping off persons and their luggage.
  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars.
  • Dogs are allowed on the Breakwater beach from 1st October to 31st March. The nearest green area for dogs is Churchill gardens approx. 300metres along Berry Head Road towards the Marina car park.

We had a fabulous time at The Lookout. There are fantastic views from the living room and the outside area at the very top is a lovely place to relax. We had everything we needed (such comfortable living room sofas, plenty of kitchen equipment, comfortable beds) We will be booking again soon!
