Swish and stylish, this delectable first-floor apartment is an ideal destination for couples or a family to enjoy the charming coastal resort of Brixham and its surroundings. The town’s shops and range of places to eat are all on your doorstep, and you can choose from several beaches or try the saltwater lido, which is open between May to September. Look out for bottlenose dolphins, harbour porpoises, grey seals and basking sharks near the beaches, in the harbours and off the headlands, and enjoy the 1.5-mile stroll to Berry Head National Nature Reserve for its jaw-dropping views, Napoleonic forts, fabulous wildlife and welcoming café. If you feel like heading further afield, Dartmouth (5 miles), Paignton (5.5 miles), and Torquay (8.5 miles) are all well worth a day trip.

Modern comforts meet traditional Victorian features in this appealing property. It is accessed via a shared passageway to the rear of the building and then up a spiral staircase to a shared entrance door. A short flight of stairs then takes you to your own front door, and once inside it is all on one level. The handsome lounge/diner, with its original sash windows, sparkling chandelier and ornamental period fireplace, has a light and airy feeling and is furnished with a pair of comfortable sofas and a dining table and mid-century modern chairs. The glossy kitchen boasts integrated appliances and extensive cupboards and worktop space, as well as a further dining table. Both of the good-looking bedrooms offer plenty of storage, and share a sleek and contemporary bathroom.

Whilst there is no dedicated outside space, you’re close to the harbour, coastal paths and less than half a mile from the beach to enjoy a stroll or a picnic.

Very spacious apartment and very modern and in a very central location, few minutes walk to harbour, local shops, restaurants, Tesco, Spar.

This was a great flat for an Easter break. We were a family of four with a dog and loved it. It was very spacious and really nicely kitted out. The location is good in the centre, but can be noisy on Saturday nights as its opposite a pub. And if you do stay, travel light as there is no parking, so any luggage has to be transported from a carRead more park 5mins away. Then, its up the stairs to the flat. The long stay is a mile away as well. We would stay there again. Hide
