This fabulous property boasts contemporary luxury and comfort, alongside stunning period style, beautiful harbour views, and provides a perfect escape to the coast for families and couples alike.

Brixham itself is renowned for its pretty harbour, a perfect spot for enjoying water sports or trying your hand at crabbing, offering a choice of beach and coastal walks, and boasting an open air sea water lido at Shoalstone. Surrounding this is an assortment of colourful cottages housing seafood restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. Head out and explore the rest of the English Riviera – you can discover an abundance of sandy beaches, take the foot ferry to Dartmouth or Torquay, or say hello to the resident seals or go dolphin-spotting. If an active holiday is more your style then there are plenty of things to keep you busy ranging from golf, fishing, walking, kayaking and cycling. Other attractions within easy reach include Dartmoor National Park, Berry Head nature reserve, Brixham Fish Market (England’s largest), Paignton Zoo, Kents Cavern, Plymouth and Exeter.

Step inside this stunning coastal home and you will firstly find yourself in a lovely light and spacious lounge with original stone walling and feature fireplace. This fabulous space boasts a comfortable sofa sat in front of a Smart TV with Blu-ray DVD player (a selection of Blu-rays and DVDs are provided) and a bay window. At the other end of this room, there is a beautiful full-height window and window seat with views over the harbour. You can relax in style here in the comfy sofa whilst soaking up the scenery or playing some family games (a selection is provided). Descending the stairs to the lower ground level takes you to a beautifully contemporary open-plan kitchen/diner. This sociable space provides a great venue for relaxed family meals and the inclusion of a stable door leading to the outside terrace means that you can dine alfresco with ease when the weather permits, or just enjoy the fresh coastal air at other times. The kitchen itself is also perfectly appointed and includes a great range of cooking equipment, features and appliances such as an electric double oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and a washer/dryer. The dining area has seating for all, around the extending oak dining table, and includes a Smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar for everyone to enjoy. Also located on this floor is a handy additional separate WC and access to an outside storage room for wetsuits and wellies. Venturing back up to the first floor you will then discover the first of the beautiful bedrooms, a pretty 2ft 6' twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a king-size on request) with views over to the harbour, and then a cosy bunk bedroom (small double with single over) with a bay window. Located next to these rooms is a lovely contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Finally, and completing the offering inside the property, is a gorgeous and airy master king-size bedroom which is located in the second-floor loft space. It has been lovingly styled and boasts a characterful sloping ceiling, instant hot water dispenser for tea and coffee, and harbour views.

Located outside and to the rear of the property off the kitchen/diner, there is an enclosed south facing decked area with a selection of sleek and comfy garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. With views across the town to the harbour and Torbay beyond, you can relax here in the sun or just enjoy pre-dinner drinks with a view. Roadside parking can be found in nearby roads, subject to availability, and Oxon cove car park is located a short stroll away.

Very comfortable cottage, decorated and furnished to a high standard. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful views from the rear of the property. Only 1-2 minutes (down many steps) to the harbour. Thanks for a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Lovely house and great location. Would definitely go back! Very close to town, there is a lot of steps up to the house from the town which some older people might find difficult but this didn't bother us. We found the house very homely

We are almost loathe to write this as we would rather keep this fabulous cottage a secret! Firstly, Brixham is just brilliant! A vibrant, community-driven little town. Great base for exploring this part of Devon. The cottage is in a great location but be prepared for lots of hills & steps. We earned our ice creams! The cottage itself has been beautRead moreifully renovated with so much love and care. Everything has been thought of and communication from the owners was fantastic. We will be back. Hide
