This charming Brixham property has been furnished by the owners to a wonderful standard and will certainly live up to expectations. Staying here will allow you to get the best of both worlds in terms of enjoying some peace and quiet with its out-of-town location, while still having the option to catch the bus or walk the coastal path to the centre of Brixham. The property is also in close proximity to other resorts including Torbay, Dartmouth and Paignton which is ideal if you have the intention of exploring other places in the area.

The simple yet sophisticated open-plan living space is made up of a cosy lounge/kitchen/diner and features a set of patio doors that open up onto a balcony area so you can appreciate the beautiful views. Upstairs are two nautical-inspired bedrooms: one is a double with its very own balcony and the other is a twin which is perfect for children.

From the property, you’ll be able to walk downhill to Fishcombe Bay where you can sunbathe on the golden sands or go off exploring in the caves (3.5 miles). Just a little way along the coastline are the likes of Torquay (10 miles) and Paignton (7 miles), both of which are easily accessible by car and have plenty of family-friendly activities and attractions to enjoy, come rain or shine.

We have been visiting the Brixham area for a number of years, this has been our favourite property we have stayed in so far. It is in a great location, spacious, lovely and clean. Nice big balcony space also gave us lots of options for when we dined in. Will definitely book again!

This is a beautiful apartment, it has all the things you need when away from home. Surrounding area is beautiful it is on the outskirts of brixham and the area is hilly so may not be ideal for anyone with mobility problems.

Lodge was clean and pleasant however the view shown in the picture of the bay is only visible when you stand at the end of the balcony. You cannot view the bay from inside the property, as you just see the back of the lodge in front which was disappointing. The location is however is beautiful.

Lovely apartment in peaceful location within walking distance to beautiful clear water coves - great for swimming (just check tides and maybe get some swimming shoes as a bit pebbly). Short walk to Brixham via coast path/ Battery gardens for great view of the bay - some steps but still manageable in flip flops.
