This coastal chalet is just 150 yards from the beautiful Fishcombe Cove. Perfect for family getaways, the on-site facilities include an indoor pool, seasonal shop and bar. Enjoy long days on the beach, strolls along the South West Coast Path or excursions from the harbour before returning to this modern bolthole for a glass of wine on the veranda or a cosy night in front of the TV.

Inside, the accommodation is light, airy and open plan, perfect for spending quality time together. Rustle up delicious meals in the modern kitchen area, which contains everything you should need, before dining at the table nearby. After an exhausting day of activities, turn on the electric fire and hunker down on the corner sofa for a relaxing night of TV, films or games. This single-storey home boasts two fresh and bright bedrooms, a double that opens through patio doors onto the veranda and a cosy twin. Stepping outside, the enclosed decked terrace is the ideal spot for enjoying an evening drink or morning cup of coffee.

 Located on a complex of similar properties, guests are invited to make the most of the many communal facilities available. Beyond the complex, the peaceful Fishcombe Cove lies just 150 yards away while the other beaches of Breakwater (1 mile) and St Mary’s (2 miles) are both within easy reach. A short stroll will bring you into the centre of Brixham (1 mile), where you will find an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, all offering up tempting local delights. Take a boat trip across the bay to Torquay (8.5 miles) or Paignton (5.5 miles) or stay on dry land for scenic strolls along the stunning South West Coast Path.

First class accommodation with all mod cons. We had a lovely time. We also visited The Brunswick Arms in Dawlish which has great service and food.

The Little Plaice is the loveliest self catering property at which we have ever stayed. It is in the perfect location set above Brixham overlooking the whole of Torbay. The property itself has everything you could need including, given the very hot weather, large decking areas both front and rear with extendable canopies over both. The inside is brRead moreight and modern with a nautical theme and the main bedroom has an overhead fan and an extremely comfortable bed. We would both thoroughly recommend it Hide

Fabulous 'little plaice '. Well equipped clean and comfortable.. back and front decking areas a bonus for alfresco dining or sitting out....beautiful view of the sea and torquay at night...short walk down to the cove for a swim in the lovely clear water was like being abroad...Fabulous would love to return
