Only a few minutes’ walk from picturesque Brixham Harbour, this contemporary cottage offers spacious accommodation and a wonderful balcony to relax and watch the boats in the marina. With three bedrooms, this seaside retreat is ideal for families seeking to enjoy the attractions of the South Devon coastline. Wander into town for a tour of the Golden Hind, feast on locally caught fish and chips, or spend the day on one of Brixham’s sandy beaches.

This charming property is close to the shops and amenities of town and has been tastefully decorated throughout. Purchase some local produce to prepare in the well-equipped kitchen, and enjoy your meal in the elegant dining room where you can sit around the stylish dining table and discuss the highlights of your day. Unwind on the comfy corner sofa after a day of exploration with a good book or a family film. When it’s time to retire, head upstairs to bed. On the first floor, you will find a light and airy king-size bedroom and the contemporary family bathroom. A further double and a twin bedroom can be found on the second floor. Outside, enjoy an early evening drink or al fresco meal on the sunny balcony overlooking the harbour.

Walk along the coastal path or hike up to Berry Head Nature Reserve to enjoy spectacular views across the coastline from the Napoleonic Fort. Take to the seas on a boat trip from the harbour – why not enjoy a family fishing trip to catch your supper? For a dry-land adventure, explore tranquil countryside on the Dartmouth Steam Railway (6 miles) or discover the animals at Paignton Zoo (6 miles), including giraffes, flamingos and tigers.

  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Brixham do not have private parking. Road parking available a couple of minutes away
  • With regret charging an electric car is not permitted at this property, however Ev charging is located at the Marina, where the guests can park there car, using the parking permit which is provided for this property

We loved this cottage ! one of the best we have ever stayed in you provided us with every thing. thank you for the biscuits ,fudge and chocolates lovely touch in the treasure chest .we really felt at home so cosy and warm especially at this time of year when we got back from our walks out , the last couple of days were a little chilly !

Fantastic holiday at the Sea Dog retreat. We loved the house, it had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect for exploring Brixham and the surrounding area.

A lovely clean well furnished property and one of the best we have ever rented and the owners are always on hand if needed Quite position with a view towards the harbour from the lovely well furnished upper deck A short walk of the harbour and town centre but as the owners have pointed out their are a number of steps to negotiate Would certainly reRead morecommend this property for anyone looking for what must be one of the best rentals in Brixham Hide

Such a lovely cottage and so well equipped. Lots of finishing touches too such as outside solar lights.. A lovely welcome pack of biscuits, fudge chocolates and milk. We really enjoyed our stay here even though the weather wasn't the best it could have been. We've visited Brixham before a few years back and there are lots of lovely walks includingRead more Berry Head and Fishcombe Cove. This holiday cottage was absolutely perfect they have literally thought of everything for your stay! There is even a parking pass for your use while you are there. There is a beautiful decked area with stunning views of the harbour! The location is perfect but bear in mind there is quite a few steps up to the property, we found a steep path which wRead moree found easier to climb. Lovely cottage with fantastic balcony with view of harbour. Very clean with everything you could need as well as a great welcome treasure chest, Lots of steps to harbour but worth it for the view. Wonderfully well equipped holiday home with lovely sun terrace with views over Brixham. Host very quick to help with any queries and great instructions and information on the cottage. Parking provided nearby but we actually used street parking round corner as just as easy/close

Absolutely brilliant, loved every minute, great location with beautiful views of the harbour. The accommodation was like home from home with all the creature comforts you need. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone and we will be returning sometime in the future.

We just stayed at this lovey place. We have already booked to go back already. The people that run the place and very nice. Brixham has issues with park that they solved with a parking pass to a carpark ten minuets walk away. The place was very clean and has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is a gally type one, the cooker works very wRead moreell. The room are of an ok size, the bed we used was very comfy. The full-size bath is a good plus as well good powerful shower. Fantastic property lovely views and in a great spot. Being able to park in the multi storey was great as parking is an issue and the roads very narrow. We only used the car once as the boats and buses are very good. We really liked Brixham and would definitely go back in the future.
