This spacious duplex apartment is stylishly designed to suit all the family, and over three floors, you’ll have plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The property boasts glorious views over the bustling marina, where you can watch working fishing boats sail in and out all day long. The kitchen is well-equipped to feed the family, and an adjacent dining area makes for a wonderful location to sit down to a hearty breakfast before the day begins. A private south-facing garden with patio and lawn also has an outdoor seating area, so you can catch the last of the summer sun and dine alfresco. There is a large king-size master bedroom and the property has two bathrooms to make sure everyone gets out of the house on time! The property has a private parking spot, which is like gold dust in the busy town of Brixham.

 

A short 5-minute walk to the harbour offers plenty to see and do, including the full-size replica of the Golden Hind, an iconic ship from the age of exploration. Find a variety of pubs and seafood restaurants close by, where you can enjoy a fresh catch of the day. Alternatively, head half a mile away from the town centre to Shoalstone Pool, a seawater lido ideal for safe swimming on a sunny day, with superb views of the South Devon coastline.

We enjoyed our stay at Moorings End but probably should have looked up the definition of duplex apartment which now we realise is a multi-family home. So we were disappointed that we shared the property with some people downstairs which whilst they were not a problem it was not what we wanted and therefore will not come again.

We had a lovely relaxing break, the accommodation is ideally positioned. Our dog loved sitting watching the world go by at the huge bay window. We will shortly be booking again for next year.

Superb location and views. Newly decorated. Easy to stroll onto the front and around the harbour. The garden and parking were a huge plus. We had a lovely Christmas getaway as a family. A very comfortable stay. My 85yr old mum had to be careful with the steps getting into the property and the two internal steps on the lower floor. Would love to staRead morey again. Hide

Ideal location in Brixham. Fabulous views. Very comfortable house. Quiet location (even during a stormy week away). Quite a few steps when getting in/out/around the property (to be expected). Great to have parking space. Would happily stay here again

Property was lovely and in a great location, views over the harbour were amazing. Garden perfect for our dog who enjoyed playing ball and being able to run around. I would recommend Moorings End to anyone looking for a relaxing break by the sea in a beautiful house.

The house was in an absolutely superb location with every comfort and need catered for. Had a really lovely holiday. Obviously, as you are located on the edge of a harbour, you are on a hillside and to be aware, there are a lot of steps at the property. Beautiful views and garden !

We loved staying at this extremely comfortable and spacious holiday cottage. It had everything we needed. The views of the harbour were amazing and was convenient for walking to town amenities and coastal path. Great to have the parking spot too.

Excellent property in a great location, right opposite steps to the harbour front. Lovley harbour bar and restaurant within a couple of minutes walk. There are steps to access both the front and back of the property but if this is not an issue then I would highly recomend this house for a stay in Brixham.

We had a lovely time at Moorings end and would highly recommend it. Its in an ideal spot to explore Brixham and surrounding areas. The property has off road parking which is really handy. Our dog loved the big garden and its very secure. Beautiful view of the harbour from the lounge and main bedroom. Good time had by all.

Great location close to harbour and marina where there are plenty of places to eat. Parking and garden absolute bonus. Area is very dog friendly and garden is fully enclosed. Plenty of walks and places to visit on foot without using the car. However also plenty a short drive a way. CoOp and Tesco as short walk away. Views from the front windows of Read morethis property were great as you could watch the comings and goings in the harbour. Even the dog enjoyed the people watching. Hide

It was a lovely cottage in a great location. I would recommend taking extra bin bags, loo/ kitchen rolls, tea towels, foil/ cling film and tea, coffee and sugar. Everything else was perfect and there was a pint of milk left in the fridge for us. Thank you.

The view from the living room and top bedroom was beautiful, the garden was a plus because we could sit in the afternoon sun, have stayed in Brixham for the past 25+ years one of the nicest we have stayed in, we have booked for next Easter
