This beautifully restored traditional fisherman’s cottage overlooks Brixham’s picturesque harbour. With stylish modern decor, a south-facing aspect and sun deck overlooking the boats below, this is the perfect bolthole for family breaks by the sea. Stroll into bustling Brixham to browse its selection of shops and restaurants, enjoy an afternoon on the beach or catch a boat to nearby Torquay or Dartmouth.

 

Inside, this sympathetically-modernised home is sunny and bright with oak flooring and fresh decor throughout. When you’re not dining out in Brixham, rustle up family meals in the good-sized modern kitchen before taking to the chic dining area that opens onto the sun deck. On the ground floor, a sunny lounge is an inviting space in which to relax all day long, with a Smart TV and wonderful views. When the sun is shining, there’s no better place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine than on the delightful sun deck, while taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the harbour below.

 

A fantastic destination for families, Brixham boasts a good choice of shops, cafes and restaurants, several beaches and a bustling harbour offering a range of boat trips. For the best way to explore the English Riviera, hop on a boat to visit nearby Torquay (8.5 miles), Kingswear (6 miles) or Dartmouth (5 miles), experience a wildlife cruise or join a fishing trip to catch a mackerel for your supper. Or, stay on dry land for a memorable stroll along the scenic South Devon coast path.

  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Gorgeous cottage, amazing view. Our 17 year old son loved having the 'penthouse suite'. Parking was brilliant too

The house was spectacular with amazing views. It was very comfortable and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Newly installed kitchen was lovely. The parking was about a 5 minute walk up and down a hill. Although there a lovely park with Seaview to have little break along the way. Brixham harbour is about 5 minute walk down two sets if stairs, we did fiRead morend walking along the road after the first set steps was a little easier on the legs on the way back up. Lovely place to stay. We have been to Brixham many times, this year we took the parents so needed a bigger property. Moonfleet did not disappoint ! Everything you need, clean and within easy distance to the main harbour area. Would definately recommend this property. You certainly leave Brixham a lot fitter than when you arrived !

Moonfleet is a beautiful crisp and clean cottage with all modern facilities. This is our 3rd visit to Moonfleet and it is always beautifully clean and fresh upon our arrival. The views from the windows are amazing and the decking area is an added bonus. It has 3 good size bedrooms (one en suite) and would be comfortably large enough for 6 adults. IRead moret is only a short walk to the harbour and there are 2 local pubs within walking distance too. We will definitely be returning again next year. Hide

Brilliant choice of cottage, great location, very clean, fully equipped to the smallest of detail. The views were spectacular from every room. Brixham is a rare find, a jewel on the south coast of Devon. Not only is it extremely picturesque but it has wonderful restaurants, especially seafood but the town caters for all tastes. This is a great cottage. Its well equipped with beautiful bedrooms and very comfy beds. There are great extras like books to read and a variety of games to play. The views are absolutely amazing. The location is super as you can easily walk to the harbour and shops. Would highly recommend. We will be going back.

Great cottage tastefully decorated in the heart of Brixham , beautiful views overlooking the harbour , beds comfortable and its very clean , its on three floors but has a ground floor bedroom if you have someone older joining you , well equipped kitchen , and somewhere to sit outside , would go there again

Comfortable mid-terrace house over 4 floors (so the stairs will keep you fit!), east facing for morning sun with lovely views overlooking Brixham inner harbour. Parking spaces a real bonus, but an 8-10 minute walk away. 5 minute walk down hill to centre, lots of cafes and little local shops to visit. Coast path lovely in both directions.

This house was just perfect. Impeccably clean and smelt so fresh on our arrival. This meant a lot to us. We have had a horrible experience on a previous holiday where we spent most of our first afternoon cleaning the kitchen & bathroom. Loved the fact that there were two bathrooms too. Choice of a bath or shower was fab. The house layout was great,Read more loved the views over the harbour. Not suitable for visitors with mobility issues as there are stairs down to kitchen and up to the bathroom. Hide
