Enjoy waterside views in this seaside bungalow, where six sleep comfortably across three bedrooms with plenty of space to relax and reset. A short walk from Brixham’s harbour and town centre, you’re never far from fun for all ages.

The spacious living room has plenty of space for all six of you to relax, and a TV with DVD is perfect for family film nights at the end of the day. An open-plan dining space makes sitting down to a hearty meal ideal, and French doors lead onto a raised patio with bright blue sea and sky views. The contemporary kitchen has both a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you don’t have to worry about muddy or sandy clothes throughout your Devonshire holiday. You’ll also find a king-size bedroom with beautiful French doors that open out onto the garden, as well as a twin bedroom perfect for kids or friends. Upstairs, another king-size bedroom boasts wonderful sea views, as well as natural wooden furniture.

Exploring the local area, you’re only half a mile from the beautiful harbour and less than 1 mile from the town centre. The steep hills surrounding the property offer remarkable views of the coastal fishing town. Discover the quality seafood eateries in town, where you can enjoy freshly caught fish expertly cooked. Head to the Berry Head Nature Reserve for coastal walks and unique local wildlife that will fascinate visitors of all ages. For keen swimmers, you can check out the small local beach at Breakwater (1 mile), or head up the road to the saltwater lido at Shoalstone where you can swim by the iconic Art Deco pool. Fancy heading out a little further? You’ll be staying just 4 miles from the River Dart, which boasts wonderful hikes and walking routes.

Lovely clean well equipped bungalow. Good location Quiet cul de sac .Short walk into harbour and town .It is downhill going and uphill coming back..Outside area would be lovely in summer .Large driveway a bonus too for off road parking. Easily enough space for 3 cars.

Absolutely stunning, comfy, clean and amazing location. Wonderful views from the bay window in the lounge and upstairs bedroom. The additional decking area to the front of the property allowed for tranquility whilst the larger decking area to the rear allowed for appreciation of the views

We had an enjoyable stay at Appledore for a week over Christmas. It is a lovely, spacious dormer bungalow and was fully equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. A short walk from Brixhams harbour, marina and shops. Brixham was welcoming and very dog friendly. Cottage very nice. Good location for Brixham Harbour. As in previous reviews driveway obstructed by non resident parking. Needs yellow lines reinstating. Excellent dog friendly garden. Beds are reasonable - would be nice to have a memory foam topper or a gel mattress. Be advised the Dorma Bedroom staircase is steep and unsuitable for a person that Read moreis unsteady on their feet. Towels could do with replacing. On the whole comfortable. Hide

The best property we have stayed in over the years of visiting Brixham, loads of parking and a secure rear garden that would probably be nice in summer to sit in. Well equipped and comfortable and an easy walk in to Brixham.

The cottage was nice & just a very short stroll to the harbour. Getting on & off the drive was a bit of a nightmare with the road being so narrow & cars parking on it aswell

What a beautiful holiday home from home! The photos dont do it any justice, we were amazed by the amenities, the decor, the cleanliness, comfy beds and pillows, even the milk in the fridge was a nice gesture too. Great location, would definitely recommend. We were a family of 5 adults, a 3 year old child and small dog.

The bungalow is very comfortable, clean and well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay. Its located within a short walk to the harbour and town centre but the return journey is uphill. Having said that, everywhere in Brixham is on a hill! The garden is only small but is enclosed and safe for the dog, which was all we needed.

Great accommodation. Easy 5-8 min walk to harbour. May be difficult for those with mobility issues getting up the hill or steps. We found it fine and a brilliant place to stay in an area we love.

The house is beautifully decorated, airy and comfortable. Plenty of pillows and spare blankets. ( elderly father feels the cold at night). We travel with two vehicles and parking was very easy. We have just spent a brilliant week at Appledore. It was very clean and comfortable. Ideally situated being only a 10 minutes walk down to the harbour and shops. Berry Head was easy walking distance in the other direction. Car parking spaces were an added bonus as parking is very limited in Brixham. The garden was enclosed and ideal for our dogs. Fabulous location, superbly situated for a very short walk into the harbour in one direction and to the cliff tops, for amazing views across the bay, in the other. Clean, spacious rooms.
